Indeed, Jesus says in the Bible "I am THE way, THE truth, life". In our society today, it seems very intolerant. How can we even dare say that there is only one truth? That apart from Jesus, no hello? How, faced with so many other religions, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Mormonism, etc.. Can we say that one only comes through Jesus to God? It is rather used to hearing "everything is in everything, all opinions are equal" or "the important thing is to have faith whatsoever!"
Well no, that's not what Jesus says. Why? Because in all other religions, access to God is through a series of rules to be purified. But Jesus on the observation opposite: God is so powerful, so big, tellemrnt perfect, that we will do everything beautiful that we can, we can never approach him. Also, the only solution was that God comes to us, and that's what he did with Jesus Christ.
is why Jesus can say he is the only way, the only truth: there is no other means of access to God, all others are useless!
remains the question of intolerance: It is entirely possible to be tolerant while thinking we are right and the other is wrong. It is entirely possible to respect each other even when one is horrified by his convictions. Tolerance is not indifference or weak consensus. Tolerance is the real dialogue in which we call a spade "a spade". Because by dint of not calling a spade "a spade" we end up believing that it is a dog! And there is no tolerance, it's anything.
seek truth, do not scroll, keep your eyes open: it could save your life. This is a Jesus who said ... Tolerance and push until you can chat with your Friends affirming the truth and loving at the same time!
