How can anyone claim that Jesus is the "only way to God"?

Indeed, Jesus says in the Bible "I am THE way, THE truth, life". In our society today, it seems very intolerant. How can we even dare say that there is only one truth? That apart from Jesus, no hello? How, faced with so many other religions, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Mormonism, etc.. Can we say that one only comes through Jesus to God? It is rather used to hearing "everything is in everything, all opinions are equal" or "the important thing is to have faith whatsoever!"

Well no, that's not what Jesus says. Why? Because in all other religions, access to God is through a series of rules to be purified. But Jesus on the observation opposite: God is so powerful, so big, tellemrnt perfect, that we will do everything beautiful that we can, we can never approach him. Also, the only solution was that God comes to us, and that's what he did with Jesus Christ.
is why Jesus can say he is the only way, the only truth: there is no other means of access to God, all others are useless!

remains the question of intolerance: It is entirely possible to be tolerant while thinking we are right and the other is wrong. It is entirely possible to respect each other even when one is horrified by his convictions. Tolerance is not indifference or weak consensus. Tolerance is the real dialogue in which we call a spade "a spade". Because by dint of not calling a spade "a spade" we end up believing that it is a dog! And there is no tolerance, it's anything.

seek truth, do not scroll, keep your eyes open: it could save your life. This is a Jesus who said ... Tolerance and push until you can chat with your Friends affirming the truth and loving at the same time!

Is that all God's promises will be fulfilled? Even if you do not follow his will?

What a good question! God keeps his promises it what happens? Might he not reverse its decision? Might there not to say that finally, we do not are worth the effort? It deserves a bit, right? We are far from perfect!
To begin, I warn a major risk: God is not a mathematical equation! God is a living being, a superior intelligence that is not understandable by humans. It is a common danger: in the book of Job in the Bible, Job's friends explained to him that he is sick, that his wife left him, his children are dead because he has sinned. But this is not true, he did not sin! So it's not as simple as a mathematical equation!

Then I'd like to read a verse from Paul to the Corinthians: "Indeed, for all the promises of God is in him (Jesus) that is" yes ", and is [therefore] also through him that we say "amen" to God for his glory. ". With Jesus, all the promises of God become so. They are all fulfilled. Whatever God has said in this big block that is the Old Testament is fulfilled. Excellent, right? So Jesus, we have insurance farm: all the promises of God will be fulfilled, even if you do not follow his will! For cons, I would draw your attention to the fact that some of the promises of the Bible are promises of trial and conviction. So they too will be fulfilled. These are not just promises of joy, happiness and blessing.

Finally, I am a little embarrassed by the question "Even if you do not follow his will". I know few people who follow 100% the will of God. Person who has criticized this week: a teacher, colleague, its leader or a buddy? Who has never thought of sex? Who has never wanted to explode the boy who sings loudly next to the subway? So this ruling will promise she fulfilled for all of us? Well no, just because God is not an equation. God has added an unknown in the equation, called Grace. He forgave those who agreed to place their trust in Him, even if they are not perfect and still not be perfect.
So the most promise in the Bible, which is precisely its YES in Jesus, if we put our trust in him, then we shall be saved. So the question we must answer, whether or not we want to place our trust in Jesus.
