Akiba-online Down Where Do I Go

The Christian religion is the religion of her guilt?

We see Christians often as people who follow a number of rules. These are people strict, moralistic view.
It seems that for many Christians, we can not be Christian if it obeys a number of criteria. They blame the people not to respect them. Must not smoke, should give 10% of his salary, do not drink too much, you have to come every Sunday to church, why you were not at the prayer meeting, your skirt is above the ankles, it indecent ...

So, is that Christianity is the religion of guilt?

The Apostle Paul says in the letter to the Romans "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Jesus Christ."
He says that in the 8th chapter, so he developed a long argument before:
- First, yes, everyone is guilty of serious sin and deserve death before God. We're only scraping.
- then, that only faith in Jesus can save us from this condemnation.
- well, that this gift is free, and it transforms us completely. There is a before and after Jesus. We've changed our condition, we died to our old nature and live in the kingdom of God.
"There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Jesus Christ. "No condemnation, no guilt.
So Christians who believe that being a Christian is to obey a set of rules did not understand the Bible and the message Jesus Christ.
A free gift, not a loan! Besides, we never saw a prisoner pardoned by the president to seek to redeem themselves from the president himself. C ' is a grace!

Frankly, ask someone who is not Christian to obey the rules "Christian", do feel guilty and think that it will make him a Christian is like taking his Bible, put it on the floor and jump feet above. If you want to be sure he never becomes a Christian is a great solution!

Respect the law of God is so once we changed our state, we are in Jesus Christ, and we share life with him. This life makes us want to be at his service, and thus honor him by respecting his law. And we can fall, because we are still human!
People do not like us would be guilty if instead of speaking of Christian behavior, they talked about why is it that we are Christian. You know, Jesus spent a good part His earthly ministry criticizing the Pharisees, who were guilty. So do not let the new Pharisees!
